Join us for a delicious and unique experience at Ellis Cottage

While you enjoy your Devonshire tea, morning or afternoon tea or lunch we will give a talk about the history of Ellis Cottage and its farm.  When you are ready there will be a tour through the cottage, or if you wish you can simply enjoy the surrounding gardens.

Ellis Cottage was built by William Ellis and completed c1865.  It is one of a small number of buildings from the early days of settlement .

 

A booking for your group will be for either

 

Devonshire Tea & Talk followed by a Tour – $18 per person

 

or

 

Tea, Coffee, Biscuits & Talk followed by a Tour – $10.00 per person

 

served with ‘real’ tea and coffee

 

  • You will have exclusive use of the cottage, barn, gardens and facilities and be warmed by our open fires on cool days
  • There is ample off-street parking adjacent to the cottage accessed via Memory Lane off Main Hurstbridge Road
  • Ellis Cottage and our barn are accessible for wheelchairs and other mobility devices as are our toilet facilities
